By messaging or interacting with Nurtura via WhatsApp or any other channel, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. What Nurtura Does
Nurtura is a family-first companion that helps families coordinate, communicate, and care together — wherever they are in the world.
Nurtura provides reminders, task support, wellbeing check-ins, and emotional encouragement through simple, familiar channels such as WhatsApp, voice, and text.
Nurtura is not a medical or mental-health professional, and should never replace care from qualified practitioners or emergency services.
2. No Medical or Mental-Health Advice
Nurtura does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
Nurtura's messages are generated using AI for informational and wellbeing support only.
You should always seek professional medical advice from your doctor, clinician, or other qualified provider for any diagnosis, treatment, or health concerns.
Never delay or disregard medical advice because of information from Nurtura.
3. Crisis and Safety
Emergency Warning
Nurtura does not monitor or respond to emergencies, and cannot contact emergency services or third parties on your behalf.
If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself or others, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency number immediately.
If you are in the UK or Ireland, you can contact the Samaritans at 116 123 for free and confidential support.
Nurtura cannot accept liability for any outcome related to crisis situations, self-harm, or acts of harm toward others.
4. Global Use
Nurtura is based in the United Kingdom, but serves users around the world.
By using the Service from outside the UK, you acknowledge that your data will be processed and stored in accordance with UK data protection laws (and applicable international standards such as GDPR where relevant).
You are responsible for complying with local laws in your country of residence when using Nurtura.
5. Eligibility and Responsible Use
Nurtura is intended for users aged 18 and over, or for those using the Service under the supervision of an adult.
You agree not to misuse Nurtura or send harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
We may suspend or terminate your access if the Service is misused or interfered with.
6. Usage Limits and Payments
Nurtura may offer limited free use of its features.
Continued access or expanded functionality (for example, additional reminders, care-circle members, or message volume) may require payment under a subscription or usage plan.
Prices, limits, and renewal terms will be clearly communicated before payment.
If payment is not received, Nurtura Ltd reserves the right to limit or suspend access until the account is up to date.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe or another trusted provider; Nurtura Ltd does not store your payment details.
7. Data, Privacy and Security
Your Data Rights
We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Nurtura Ltd is the Data Controller for data collected through the Service.
By chatting with Nurtura, you consent to the collection and storage of information you choose to share, including text, voice, or metadata necessary to deliver the Service.
We will:
- Store your data securely within the UK/EEA or with providers that meet UK adequacy standards.
- Use your data to deliver, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Never sell your data.
- Only share information if required by law or to protect someone's safety.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@Nurtura.ai.
Please note that WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Inc.) is a separate data controller with its own Privacy Policy. By using Nurtura via WhatsApp, you also agree to their terms.
8. Service Availability and Changes
Nurtura Ltd aims to provide reliable, continuous service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service without notice.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms; updated versions will be posted with the "last updated" date.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Nurtura Ltd and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
- Nurtura Ltd is not responsible for any medical or mental-health outcomes resulting from reliance on the Service, missed reminders, or communication errors.
- Nurtura Ltd shall not be liable for loss of data or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and software used in connection with Nurtura are owned or licensed by Nurtura Ltd.
Users may not copy, modify, or distribute content without written consent.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
If you live outside the UK, local consumer rights in your country may also apply.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
